Getting to Clifton

Clifton is nestled between Manassas, VA and Centreville, VA to the west and Burke Centre, VA to the east.  You can either take the train or drive to the Festival. 

Driving Directions:

There is ample parking for the Festival and parking cost $5 per vehicle at outer lots and $10 at the flood plain lot (in town).  Handicapped parking is available at "parking lot north". To get to the Festival parking lots:

  • From the northwest: Take VA-29 (Lee Hwy) east to Clifton Road south.  Go about 4 miles to parking lot-north.

  • From the southwest (Prince William County): Take Prince William County Parkway to Yates Ford Road.  Turn left onto Henderson Rd.  At end, turn left onto Clifton Rd.  Turn left onto Yates Ford Rd. Turn right onto Kincheloe Rd.  Turn left onto Wiltonshire Dr. to get to parking lot-south.

  • From east: Exit I-495 at Braddock Rd. west.  Take Braddock Rd. to Clifton Road south.  Go about 4 miles to parking lot-north.

  • From south (I-95): Exit I-95 at VA-123 (Ox Rd.) north.  Turn left onto Chapel Rd.  Go about 3.5 miles to parking lot-east. 

  • From north (via Fairfax County Parkway):  Take Hwy-7100 to Braddock Rd. west.  Take Braddock Rd. to Clifton Road south.  Go about 4 miles to parking lot-north.

 

Note:  All roads through town are closed on Clifton Day. Parking is only permitted in designated parking lots; parking is prohibited on the streets leading into Clifton. The Fairfax County Police strictly enforce this. 

Take the Train:
 

We will have train service from the Virginia Railway Express (VRE) again this year. VRE offers service from Manassas to Clifton to Rolling Road and  back to Clifton and all stops in between. The train ride to Clifton is FREE and the return trip costs $5 for kids and adults, babies under two ride free. Shown below is the 2023 schedule. The 2024 schedule will be posted when available.
