Music on Stage - by the firehall

This year, Clifton Day is proud to feature some of the area's hottest Musicians. The artists will be live on stage from 11am until about 5pm. The 2009 lineup includes:

  • 10:30 -  Barbara Sheppard Dance Accadamy
  • 11:15 -  Boyle School of Irish Dance
  • 12:00 -  The Fuzed - A Teen Band
  • 1:00   -  The Wayward Street Players
                       - Dixieland, Ragtime, String band
  • 2:00   -  The Colin Thompson Band
  • 3:00   -  The City Dwelling Nature Seekers
                       - Acoustic Rock
      

In addition to the above stage acts, "The Banjo Man" will again be walking the streets of Clifton strumming to his own beat.

Clifton Day has something for everyone.  AND A FREE PETTING ZOO.

Train Rides
If you weren't lucky enough to take the train to Clifton Day in the first place, you can still take a fun round-trip train ride. Click on "Ride the Train" above for more information.

Entertainment in the park
Check out all the children's entertainment in the park.  It includes various activities from JumpWorks, the Unicycle Lady (she audited this year for "America's Got Talent"), Kerri the Face Painter, numerous games put on by the local Girl Scouts, and did I mention the Petting Zoo.  Step inside the ring with a variety of vary friendly animals.  Children of all ages love the petting zoo and it is free!  The Face Painting are also free! 

Pony Rides at the Barn
The Northern Virginia Therapeutic Riding Program (NVTRP) will once again have the pony rides. Proceeds go to support the riding lessons and horses for The Northern Virginia Therapeutic Riding Program. Pony riders must be 3 or more years old. Completely safe, completely fun, and pony-petting is free!

Civil War Reenactments - by the Fire Station
The 49th Virginia Infantry featuring their very own award winning Civil War reenactments - put on throughout the day
